Behaviour Practitioner

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated Behaviour Practitioner to join our team of professionals who share a passion for providing exceptional behaviour support services.

As a Behaviour Practitioner, you will have the opportunity to work with individuals who display behaviours of concern, in collaboration with their care teams to develop and implement tailored behaviour support plans.

The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Developmental Education, Psychology or a related field, with a focus on behaviour. Additionally, they must be registered as a Core Behaviour Support Practitioner under the NDIA PBS Capability Framework.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering high-quality behaviour support, therapy, and consultancy services;
  • Conducting functional behaviour assessments and other standardised evaluations to inform individualised support interventions and plans;
  • Developing comprehensive positive behaviour support plans and intervention programs;
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to design, implement, and review support strategies.

Requirements:

A degree in Developmental Education, Psychology, or a related field with a behaviour component;

Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
