The role is perfect for someone who's calm, resilient, and wants to help pupils succeed both emotionally and academically.
About the Role : As a Behaviour Mentor, you'll support pupils who may struggle with emotional regulation, behaviour challenges, or trauma-related needs.
You'll help them feel safe, supported and ready to learn, while working closely with teachers, support staff and pastoral teams.
Key Responsibilities : Provide 1 : 1 mentoring and tailored behaviour support Help pupils manage emotions and make positive behaviour choices Model respectful and consistent boundaries Support classroom routines and de-escalate where necessary Build trust and positive relationships with students Job Requirements : Experience supporting children or young people with SEMH or behavioural needs Calm, confident, and emotionally resilient A non-judgemental, empathetic approach Good communication and teamwork skills An enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or willing to apply for one)What We Offer : Daily pay ranging from £90 to £100 Ongoing support and CPD from GSLThe opportunity to make a real impact in students' lives Work within a supportive and professional team Please be advised that this role requires a strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection and that successful applicants must satisfy all background safer recruitment checks; including providing an enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service, or completing an application for a new check.
