About the Role

As a Behavioural Clinician, you will join a dynamic team providing clinical services to NDIS participants. You will work across early intervention, school age, adolescent and adult services with clients who have various presentations, diagnoses and disability types.

You will have the opportunity to form close bonds with clients and their families, celebrating achievements and milestones together. Your day-to-day duties will involve working with allied health practitioners, support workers and family members to achieve outcomes for clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assessing and observing challenging behaviours
  • Increasing skills and improving emotion regulation
  • Introducing replacement behaviours

We focus on quality of life, including improving skills and enhancing independence. Our plans are developed in consultation with clients, their families and support networks to ensure they meet individual needs.

Learning and Development

We invest in our staff's professional development and offer regular training and mentorship opportunities. Requirements include qualifications in Psychology, Counselling or related fields, NDIS Registration as a Behaviour Practitioner or ability to become registered, experience working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Intellectual Disability and complex diagnoses desirable. A car and licence required.
