Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Technical Quality Specialist to join our team in QLD or NSW. As a Technical Quality Specialist, you will be responsible for managing our site Quality Management system, coordinating laboratory activities, ensuring product compliance and certification, and promoting initiatives to deliver improved quality performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage site-based Quality Management, including ISO accreditation maintenance and NATA accreditations.
  • Ensure product compliance and certification with industry standards.
  • Coordinate and supervise laboratory activities to ensure efficient operation.
  • Maintain safety and performance objectives.
  • Provide technical support in steel sourcing, process improvements, and quality management.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in engineering or metallurgy, or equivalent industry experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience working in Steel or Heavy manufacturing industry.
  • Previous experience as a Quality Assurance Officer, Quality Control Supervisor, or Production/Process/Metallurgical Engineer.
  • Strong understanding of quality manufacturing systems.
  • Effective communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Solid analytical skills and problem-solving ability.
