About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our multidisciplinary team at NSW Government, providing specialist care and rehabilitation services to individuals with eating disorders. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional who wants to make a difference in people's lives.

This role will involve working in a collaborative environment, enhancing the therapeutic milieu and delivering a therapy program focused on providing care interventions to meet the physical and mental health care needs of clients.

As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and experience, contributing to the development of collaborative care goals and providing specialist care interventions. You will work alongside a specialist multidisciplinary team, including allied health professionals and assistants in nursing, offering opportunities to enhance your therapeutic skills through clinical supervision, both internal and external, and additional training during performance reviews.

The ideal candidate will possess exceptional interpersonal skills, be able to work in a flexible approach, and demonstrate warmth and compassion for others. You will also be committed to partnering with clients and families, passionate about improving services for people with an eating disorder.

Baiyangbaiyaang, a statewide comprehensive eating disorder treatment service, includes a residential eating disorder centre (REDC) and an Eating Disorder Day Program (EDDP). The REDC provides an intensive, multidisciplinary treatment program for people 16 years and older, focusing on eating disorder treatment and overall quality of life. The EDDP offers a group therapy program four days a week, providing meal support and skills-based groups to help clients tackle challenges and build a fulfilling life.

This is a Category A position, requiring applicants to comply with NSW Health policy directive PD2024_015: Occupational Assessment, Screening, and Vaccination against Specified Infectious Diseases. All new employees must agree to comply with the requirements outlined in the policy.
