As a Client Partner, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with clients.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Client Partner, where you will have the chance to drive growth and career advancement in a leadership-based role within the media industry.

The ideal candidate will be able to further their development with respect to leadership both for clients and team members. The scope of this role presents the opportunity to continue exposure to using media to solve business challenges, as well as the role of complementary disciplines across our agency network in achieving the same.

You will lead a talented client team on multiple accounts in media and SEO deliverables, and report to the Managing Director. Your responsibilities will include ownership and oversight of our relationship with clients, media strategy and planning for them, management and development of your client team and their profit and loss statements, and growth of our business through internal cross-sell and new business contributions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Delivers innovative and ambitious solutions that balance client and agency values working closely with colleagues and clients
  • Manages team to ensure they also build strong relationships with counterparts to deliver outstanding client service and ensure retention and growth
  • Immerses self and team in clients' businesses: understanding their challenges, objectives, external economic environment, markets they operate in, competitive threats and relevant partner agencies; knows their business model, how it is performing and what success looks like; knows clients' products inside out and applies this knowledge to deliver innovative, ambitious client plans and service
  • Understands client commercial framework and works with senior stakeholders to drive business results

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g. marketing, communications, business)
  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in the media industry
  • Strong leadership and management skills, including ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and team members
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with ability to articulate complex ideas and strategies
  • Ability to analyze business data and develop insights to drive business decisions
