About the Opportunity

This key role will focus on driving strategic initiatives that foster community, diversity and inclusion. You will develop and implement plans and programs to engage stakeholders, enhance partnerships, and promote employment opportunities for underrepresented groups.

You will leverage your project management expertise to collaborate with internal and external teams, providing specialist guidance to ensure effective implementation and delivery of strategic outcomes.

  • Proven experience in social performance roles with operational exposure.
  • Strong commercial acumen, including negotiation skills with suppliers and procurement teams.
  • Tender writing expertise, with excellent communication skills essential.
  • Experience in desktop scoping and analysis, with the ability to develop a strategic plan from bid phase to operational execution.
  • Ability to articulate a clear strategic direction and plan.
  • Familiarity with the mining, construction, and engineering industries highly desirable.
  • Previous experience in Human Resources, Stakeholder Engagement, Communications, or Corporate Affairs/Public Affairs delivering approved community and stakeholder engagement or diversity and inclusion plans.
  • Strong project management skills, with an intuitive ability to identify areas for improvement and measure ROI.
  • Sound research and reporting skills.
