The primary objective of this position is to lead a team in overseeing the daily operations of Community Outreach Support Services. This encompasses Independent Living Units, Family Accommodation Program, and Street to Home Service.
As a key member of the Outreach Support Services leadership team, you will report directly to the Manager - Outreach Services located in Northbridge, WA. The role adheres to the SCHADS Award, Level 6 salary structure.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining a collaborative working partnership within the Outreach Support Services leadership team.
- Approving or rejecting client applications in consultation with relevant project teams.
- Developing, reviewing, and updating team members' case plans.
- Gathering statistics for reporting purposes, such as Monthly SHIP reporting (NPAH).
- Developing productive relationships within the team and contributing to quality team performance and wellbeing.
- Demonstrating a collaborative approach to service delivery and improvement within the team.
To be successful in this role, you will require tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Social Welfare, Community Development, or a related field. Additionally, relevant experience in a social service environment, as specified in the award description, is essential.
A degree in Social Work or any related field is desirable. You should also have relevant experience in supervising staff, a national police record check, a current WA Drivers licence, and a current First Aid Certificate with CPR.
