About the Role

We are seeking a motivated team member to lead conservation efforts and support volunteers in our TurtleCare program.

This role involves managing daily operations, supervising volunteers, and coordinating communication strategies through various media channels.

You will provide timely and accurate information, advice, reports, and correspondence on all aspects of volunteer program operations. You will also contribute to developing and reviewing strategies to ensure continuous improvement and adherence to industry best practices.

The successful candidate will establish and maintain partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to achieve shared environmental goals and foster participation in our volunteer program.

This position is an Identified Position under our Reconciliation Action Plan, which aims to increase representation of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in our workforce.

About You
  • You have a relevant tertiary qualification (e.g., environmental science, education, HR, tourism, marketing, or communication) or equivalent experience.
  • You have proven experience in coordinating volunteer programs and achieving objectives.
  • You possess strong interpersonal skills, able to manage relationships, resolve conflicts, and engage diverse stakeholders.
