Environmental Collaborations Coordinator

We are seeking an Environmental Partnerships Specialist to collaborate with private landowners, Council Officers and Councillors to achieve high-quality environmental outcomes.
About the Role- Support and facilitate the environmental work of private landowners through various programs such as Voluntary Conservation Agreements, Land for Wildlife, and Landholder Environment Grants.
- Provide expert environmental advice to internal and external customers.
- Implement conservation programs in line with Council's policies and procedures.
The ideal candidate will possess a demonstrated understanding of the ecology of the Sunshine Coast region, including flora and fauna identification skills, and the ability to collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Demonstrated knowledge of natural ecosystems of the Sunshine Coast, including flora and fauna identification skills.
- Strong communication and project management skills.
- Able to negotiate on-ground outcomes with private landholders.
