Environmental Partnership Manager Job DescriptionThis role is responsible for delivering high-quality environmental outcomes through partnerships with private landowners and the community. We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team in implementing various programs, including Voluntary Conservation Agreements, Land for Wildlife, and Landholder Environment Grants.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the ecology of the Sunshine Coast region and be able to provide professional environmental advice and recommendations to internal and external customers. They will work closely with colleagues and stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes and develop effective relationships with the community.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Implementing the Land for Wildlife Program and associated incentives programs, including member events, in accordance with program guidelines and plans.
- Implementing the Voluntary Conservation Agreement and Landholder Environment Grants programs in accordance with Council policies and procedures.
- Negotiating on-ground outcomes with private landholders.
- Providing sound environmental advice and recommendations to internal and external customers.
