We are seeking a dedicated and passionate teacher to join our team at St Francis Catholic College, Edmondson Park. As a Classroom Teacher, you will play a vital role in supporting the growth of our students in faith and their academic development.

About the Role

This is a full-time position available from 31 January 2025 until 19 December 2025. The successful applicant will be required to teach one of the following subjects: English, Religious Education, Science, Mathematics, HSIE, and PD/H/PE.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and maintain a supportive learning environment based on the principles of Positive Behaviour for Learning (PB4L).
  • Apply knowledge of the diverse needs of students to support their full participation in learning.
  • Plan and implement effective teaching and learning in Key Learning Areas (KLAs).
  • Use a range of assessment strategies and analyse data to inform student learning.
  • Demonstrate commitment to engage professionally with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community.
Requirements
  • Appropriate qualifications for teaching nominated Key Learning Area(s).
  • Level B Accreditation in accordance with To Work, Teach and Lead policy or a commitment to gain level within the first 5 years of employment with CEDoW.
  • Registration to teach with NESA.
