Motor Insurance Recovery Specialist Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for a Motor Insurance Recovery Specialist to join our team.

This role involves managing and coordinating the recovery process for motor claims, working closely with internal teams and external parties to ensure successful claims recoveries and safeguarding the company's financial interests.

  • Assess and investigate Motor insurance claims to identify opportunities for recovery.
  • Engage in effective negotiation with relevant third parties, including other insurers, loss adjusters, and solicitors, to recover claims costs.
  • Collaborate with the internal claims team to gather essential data and supporting evidence for successful recoveries.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date claims records and documentation.
  • Evaluate the feasibility of legal action and liaise with legal counsel when necessary.
  • Provide regular updates to clients, brokers, and management on recovery progress.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Experience working in recoveries or collections, dealing directly with customers/clients over the phone.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in handling litigated claims and working with legal teams is advantageous.
  • The ability to work both within a team though also comfortable to work autonomously.
