About the Role
Covetrus is a global animal health technology and services company dedicated to advancing veterinary medicine. We are seeking an Administration professional with a passion for finance to join our Northgate team. Reporting to the Accounts Payable Manager, this opportunity offers a chance to work in a large, head office finance team and be part of a global organisation that makes a positive impact on vet customers and pet owners.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the Accounts Payable inbox, distributing invoices/statements and responding to internal and external finance queries.
- Enter invoices into our ERP system.
- Filing and archiving of completed payments, and archiving prior years payment batches via Grace storage portal.
- Scanning and filing of approved Vendor Masterfiles.
- Participate in Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) auditing and AP team monthly meetings, recording and contributing to minutes.
- Assist with documenting AP processes.
- Other duties as required.
About You
We are looking for someone with a minimum one year's experience in an administrative role in a high volume environment, preferably with some finance exposure. You will be able to demonstrate strong customer service and interpersonal skills when dealing with queries from external suppliers and internal stakeholders.
We also require:
- Experience using MS Excel and/or ERP software (desirable).
- Ability to maintain high accuracy and attention to detail.
- Reliability and flexibility to work within a changing and fast-paced environment.
- A friendly and collaborative demeanour to work within a cohesive finance team.
