Senior Funding Coordinator

We are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Planner to join a Federal Government program focused on supporting participants to manage their plans effectively and ensure funding decisions align with policy and legislation.
Key Responsibilities- Analyse participant records using relevant policy, guidelines, and legislation to make informed funding decisions
- Collaborate with participants and their representatives via phone to understand current circumstances and spending patterns
- Maintain accurate and high-quality records in line with established process guidelines and standard operating procedures
- Research and review decisions, managing moderately complex cases with guidance from senior staff members
- Complete administrative and data entry tasks accurately and within set timeframes
- Bring strong written and verbal communication skills
- Manage sensitive or difficult conversations with empathy and professionalism
- Possess solid IT skills, including data entry and analysis capabilities
- Be able to work independently and as part of a collaborative team environment
- Manage multiple participant records simultaneously with ease
Flexibility to work from the office during the training period is required.
