About the Opportunity:

This is a full-time position working 38 hours per week from Monday to Friday with flexibility to work from home twice a week. The role involves exploring various options for participants to engage them in decision making.

Your Role:

  • Explore different options with participants
  • Support participants to establish their account and navigate the Portal
  • Negotiate services and prices as part of any quotable supports
  • Arrange assessments to determine funding required
  • Liaise with Plan Managers on funding, support types, payments etc.
  • Link participants to mainstream and/or community services
  • Strengthen participant capacity to coordinate supports and manage their lives

What You Need to Succeed:

  • Diploma or higher tertiary qualifications in disability/community services/social sciences/allied health
  • Knowledge of the NDIS Code of Conduct, Practice Standards and Act 2013 and rules
  • Sound understanding of complex needs of people with disability and their families/nominees/authorised representatives
  • Experience in effective and contemporary disability support models
  • Proven ability to establish partnerships and achieve common outcomes
