ICT Service Transition Lead

An experienced ICT leader is sought to oversee the transition of ICT services from an internal model to a shared services arrangement with another government department.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing a comprehensive ICT strategy aligned with agency goals.
- Liaising with stakeholders to ensure continuity, value for money, and fit-for-purpose outcomes during the transition.
- Providing strategic advice to internal teams on technology needs.
- Collaborating with business leaders to deliver technology solutions.
- BUILDING AND MAINTAINING STRONG RELATIONSHIPS WITH INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL TEAMS.
- Managing contracts, service agreements, and vendor relationships effectively.
- Communicating technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Mitigating IT risks and ensuring data security.
- Oversight of day-to-day ICT operations, including staff, resources, and budgets.
This role requires strong public sector delivery experience, stakeholder engagement skills, and excellent leadership and communication skills.
The ideal candidate will possess Australian citizenship and NV1 Security clearance.
