ICT Transition Manager

We're seeking a highly skilled Project Director to lead the transition of ICT services for a federal government agency. This critical change involves managing risk, guiding internal teams and external relationships, and providing ongoing technical support.
Main Responsibilities:
- Manage the full project lifecycle for ICT services transition
- Develop and execute an ICT strategy aligning with broader business objectives
- Establish strong stakeholder relationships across departments, ensuring effective communication and trust
- Oversee daily operations, team performance, and service continuity within the internal ICT function
- Advise senior stakeholders on systems security, continuity, and vendor management
- E nsure the agency's IT systems and data remain secure and reliable throughout the transition
- Effectively manage project budgets, timelines, and resources while ensuring quality and value for money
Requirements:
- Proven track record in delivering ICT projects in the public sector
- NV1 security clearance (current)
- Experience managing ICT transitions or shared service implementations
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Financial oversight experience, including budgeting and reporting
- Ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders, technical teams, and external providers
