Job Title: Stock Count Specialist

Join us to apply for this exciting role that involves visiting various retail locations across the Hunter Region.

This casual position provides an opportunity to work with a dynamic team, conducting stock counts at each location. The role entails physically counting items and entering data into a handheld scanning device.

The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills. A reliable attendance record and ability to travel periodically are also essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurate counting of stock in accordance with company guidelines, time frames, and targets.
  • Working collaboratively in a productive team environment.
  • Abiding by company policies and procedures in relation to Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) and Food Safety.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrate competent written and verbal communication skills, with a sound mathematical ability.
  • Hold a current driver's licence and have access to your own vehicle.
  • Maintain a reliable attendance record and strong work ethic.
  • Perform repetitive tasks.
  • Portray a positive attitude.
  • Abide by company policies and procedures at all times, including standard of dress.
  • Be available to work a flexible casual schedule from Monday to Friday, with occasional evenings and late nights required.
  • Periodically travel on trips away for up to four nights, staying in twin share accommodation at the expense of the employer.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and team members.
  • Work in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Required to undergo a pre-employment physical check.
