About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Commis Chef to join our Food & Beverage Team at Kings Park. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our food service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Head Chef in the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of new menu items and specials
  • Ensure that kitchen protocols, including HACCP, are maintained at all times
  • Work collaboratively with the Food & Beverage Team to achieve excellent customer service and satisfaction
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance culinary skills and knowledge

Requirements:

  • Certificate 3 in Commercial Cookery (desirable)
  • Experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment, with a proven track record of collaboration and teamwork
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a dynamic environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and public holidays
