Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Beverage and Food Service Coordinator to join our team at W Sydney. As a key member of our Food and Beverage department, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating daily operations, managing guest inquiries, and assisting with menu design and administration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage phone calls and guest inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Anticipate and meet guest service needs, including asking questions to understand their preferences and acting on them whenever possible.
  • Build relationships with talent, potential clients, and existing clients in front-of-house areas.
  • Verify reservation information with callers and enter booking details into SEVENROOMS.
  • Accommodate and document special requests in an accurate and efficient manner.
  • Explain guarantee, group surcharge, and cancellation policies to callers.
  • Answer guest questions about different Food and Beverage venues, including hours of operation, concept, menu offerings, restricted dates, promotions, and special events.
  • Coordinate group reservations and private use events for all Food and Beverage venues.
  • Follow up-selling techniques and sales strategies to maximize property revenue.
  • Manage setup and back-end of all Food and Beverage related software systems, including SEVENROOMS and IRIS.
