Servicing Roles at Daikin

We are seeking a skilled Service Technician to join our team as an HVAC Specialist. In this role, you will provide repairs and commissioning services to our valued customers in the SA region.

You will work closely together with your team members, leveraging each other's technical expertise and problem-solving skills to ensure customer satisfaction.

This role offers a fast-paced and varied workload, with daily tasks including troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance. Periodic interstate travel to our Royal Park office is required for technical training and team-building activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnosing HVAC system performance: You will diagnose HVAC system performance through testing and observation, as per applicable service manuals.
  • Generating repair cost estimates: You will generate repair cost estimates as per Daikin procedure, for customer approval.
  • Repairing or servicing units: You will repair or service units to ensure efficient operation, recommending further action such as replacement of units or accessories if required.
  • Liaising with dealers and end users: You will liaise with dealers, end users, and contractors to ensure satisfactory resolution of issues.
  • Providing detailed explanation of service charges: You will provide a detailed explanation of service charges and work performed, collecting relevant payment if chargeable.
About You

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Valid Electrical License
  • Valid Refrigerant Handling License
  • Working with children check (or willing to obtain)
  • Current Driver's License
  • Annual flu vaccination
  • Technical background in HVAC with experience in maintenance and repair, preferably on Daikin products.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Well-developed problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills.
