The Role

This exciting opportunity as an HVAC Service Specialist will see you join our team of skilled technicians in the SA region, providing top-notch repair and commissioning services to our valued customers. You will be part of a fast-paced and dynamic team, working closely with your colleagues to leverage each other's technical expertise and problem-solving skills.

We are seeking a talented, self-motivated individual who has recently completed their apprenticeship and is eager to learn and grow with a leading industry player. As a Service Specialist, you will be responsible for servicing Daikin units across residential and commercial properties in the SA region, including troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance.

Your daily tasks will include:

  • Diagnosing HVAC system performance through testing and observation, as per applicable service manuals.
  • Generating repair cost estimates for customer approval.
  • Repairing or servicing units to ensure efficient operation, recommending further action if required.
  • Liaising with dealers, end-users, and contractors to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Providing detailed explanations of service charges and work performed, collecting payment when necessary.

We offer a competitive salary of AU$60,000 - AU$80,000 per annum, plus superannuation and a performance bonus, making this an attractive opportunity for experienced HVAC technicians looking to take their career to the next level.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A valid Electrical License.
  • A valid Refrigerant Handling License.
  • A current Driver's License.
  • Annual flu vaccination.
  • Technical experience in HVAC, preferably with Daikin products.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Ability to work autonomously, with well-developed problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills.

In addition, you will be required to complete a Pre-employment Medical Assessment and obtain a National Police Clearance prior to commencing employment.
