About the role

We seek a skilled Air Conditioning Service Specialist to join our SA team, providing high-quality repairs and commissioning services to valued customers. This role involves working collaboratively as part of a cohesive unit, leveraging technical expertise and problem-solving skills to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction.

A talented and self-motivated professional, you will be responsible for servicing Daikin units in residential and commercial properties across the SA region. Your daily tasks will include troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance, along with occasional interstate travel for technical training and team-building activities.

Key responsibilities:

  • Diagnosing HVAC system performance through testing and observation, adhering to applicable service manuals.
  • Generating repair cost estimates according to Daikin procedures for customer approval.
  • Repairing or servicing units to ensure efficient operation, recommending further action if necessary.
  • Liaising with dealers, end users, and contractors to resolve issues effectively.
  • Providing detailed explanations of service charges and work performed, collecting relevant payment when chargeable.

As an Air Conditioning Service Specialist with Daikin, you will receive specialised training on products and access to experienced technical experts to aid diagnosis and solution-finding.

About You

Your success in this role will depend on:

  • A valid Electrical License
  • A valid Refrigerant Handling License
  • A Working with Children check (or willingness to obtain)
  • A Current Driver's License
  • An Annual flu vaccination
  • A Technical background in HVAC with experience in maintenance and repair (experience on Daikin products highly desirable).
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Well-developed problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills

Prior to employment, successful candidates must complete:

  • A Pre-employment Medical Assessment
  • Obtaining a National Police Clearance

$60,000 - $80,000 per annum, dependent on location and experience.
