Operational Policy Officer - Implementation Monitoring

Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for policy development and implementation? Do you have experience in monitoring and evaluating projects to ensure quality and compliance? We are seeking an Operational Policy Officer - Implementation Monitoring to join our team at the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB).

About the Role

The Operational Policy Officer - Implementation Monitoring will be responsible for reviewing project monitoring reports, implementing robust monitoring mechanisms, and providing support to project teams to ensure quality enhancement measures are in place. You will work closely with the senior policy specialist to review project completion notes and provide comments and suggestions for project improvements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review project monitoring reports and provide feedback to project teams
  • Implement robust monitoring mechanisms to track project quality and performance
  • Provide support to project teams to ensure quality enhancement measures are in place
  • Develop and maintain systems, models, and processes to capture data and facilitate decision-making
  • Prepare periodic and ad-hoc reports on project performance and quality
Requirements
  • Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., economics, finance, business, or related subjects)
  • Minimum 5-8 years of operational experience in a multilateral development bank (MDB)
  • Excellent understanding of MDB operations, processes, and relevant operational policies
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and reporting packages
  • Ability to work effectively as a team member under time pressure and tight deadlines
