In-House Senior Employment Law Expert

This is a rare opportunity to take on a senior role in employment law. The position involves providing strategic advice on a broad range of employment and industrial relations matters.
The ideal candidate will have 8-15 years' experience in employment law, gained at a reputable firm or in-house. They will be responsible for leading a team of employment practitioners, overseeing key projects and initiatives.
- Providing guidance on employment-related issues, including enterprise bargaining and high-level complex employment law matters.
- Developing and implementing strategies to support the business in its employment law needs.
- Supervising the provision of advice on employment law and human resource management principles.
- Coordinating the delivery of resources related to Commonwealth and Victorian employment legislation.
The successful candidate will be commercially minded, with strong technical skills and excellent interpersonal skills.
Required Skills and Qualifications:- Advanced degree in law (LLB or LLM).
- Admission to practice as a solicitor in Australia.
- Minimum 8-15 years' experience in employment law, preferably in-house.
- Strong knowledge of employment law and industrial relations principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
