Job Overview

The role involves effective liaison with various stakeholders to support the parks development team. You will conduct site inspections, document progress and collaborate with multiple parties to inform design and deliver high-quality parkland outcomes to the community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaboration and Design: Work collaboratively with architects and other professionals to inform design and ensure successful delivery of landscape capital projects according to specification.
  • Contract Administration: Undertake administration tasks such as purchase requisitions, record-keeping for contract documentation and performance outcomes.
  • Project Planning: Participate in project planning and provide feedback on progress and potential improvements.
  • Specifications and Documentation: Prepare specifications and documentation for parks projects to be tendered.
  • Site Inspections: Conduct regular site inspections and maintain accurate records of contract documentation and performance outcomes.
Requirements
  • A Certificate II or III in Horticulture or equivalent qualification.
  • Significant relevant experience in horticultural or landscape construction practice.
  • Experience supporting horticulture, landscape, or irrigation construction projects using project management and contract administration principles.
  • A current C Class Drivers Licence. A Construction card or White card or equivalent is also required.
