We are seeking a seasoned Land Professional to join our team in West Australia. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in land management, with a deep understanding of Australian mining legislation and regulations.

Job Summary

This role involves providing technical assistance in maintaining and establishing company tenements, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulations. You will play a key part in advising on matters related to land and tenements across all projects.

The Opportunity
  • Deliver specialist land and tenure advice to the business as required.
  • Manage and maintain the Land & Tenement Landtracker database and systems to ensure compliance with legislation and statutory obligations.
  • Ensure rent, rates, and other Departmental fee payments are lodged by the required dates.
  • Timely preparation and lodgement of a variety of statutory forms and reports for lodgement with government agencies.
Required Skills and Qualifications

We are looking for a professional with:

  • Tertiary level qualification in Geosciences, Law, Planning, Environment Commerce or equivalent desirable.
  • Strong demonstrated experience in land management, legal support, or a related field within the mining, resources, or infrastructure sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of Australian mining legislation, regulations, legal compliance requirements, and risk management principles.
  • Demonstrated ability to support multiple projects and flexibility to change priorities and focus to align with Company objectives.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
