**Job Title:** Theatre Unit Manager

**Job Summary:** We are seeking an experienced and skilled Theatre Unit Manager to join our team at Prospero Health & Social Care Australia. As a Theatre Unit Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of healthcare professionals in the Theatre unit, promoting quality patient care and service, and providing leadership and strategy to your team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of healthcare professionals in the Theatre unit, promoting quality patient care and service.
  • Provide leadership and strategy to your team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and services.
  • Develop and implement continuous improvement programs to enhance patient care and services.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless patient flow and efficient use of resources.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of the Theatre unit, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and standards, including those related to patient safety and quality of care.

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration.
  • Relevant tertiary qualification and at least 5 years' clinical experience.
  • Extensive experience within a Theatre setting.
  • Strong team leadership and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle a challenging and high-pressured environment.
  • Ability to review and implement continuous improvement programs.
  • Exceptional communication (written and oral) and time management skills.
  • Act as a role model and resource for other clinicians.
  • Creative and innovative persona, with the ability to drive people forward with enthusiasm and a can-do attitude.
  • The ability to put patient care at the forefront of their role.
