Nurse Unit Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Unit Manager to join our team at Hobart Private Hospital. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for providing operational direction for the Emergency Department, ensuring efficient and effective management of the area and coordinating the delivery of nursing care that is evidence-based.
Key Responsibilities- Provide operational direction for the Emergency Department, ensuring efficient and effective management of the area.
- Coordinate the delivery of nursing care that is evidence-based.
- Accountable for the effective management of human, financial, and material resources.
- Ensure customer service is maintained at optimal levels.
- Undertake direct patient care as required, providing guidance and support to less experienced members of the nursing team.
Hobart Private Hospital is a fully accredited facility with 146 beds, co-located with the Royal Hobart Hospital in the heart of the city. We provide Emergency Services, Angiography and Cardiac Services, Maternity, Medical, Surgical, Day Surgery, and Endoscopy.

- Degree in relevant specialty area.

- High degree of computer literacy, including MS Office and various databases.
- Ability to work cohesively within a team environment.
- Proven time management and prioritization skills.
- Demonstrate a sound knowledge base in labor management.
