About the Role

The Tasmania Government is seeking an experienced and skilled Associate Nurse Unit Manager to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing leadership and guidance to nursing staff, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide operational leadership and guidance to nursing staff, ensuring the efficient and effective provision of care.
  • Assist the Nurse Unit Manager with the planning and management of staff and resources.
  • Coordinate the day-to-day patient care activities, including patient flow.
Requirements
  • Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse.
  • Current Working with Children Registration (where applicable and as determined by individual position requirements).
  • Current Registration to Work with Vulnerable People (where applicable and as determined by individual position requirements).
Desirable Criteria
  • Holds, or is working towards, relevant postgraduate qualifications.

  • Ability to work in a collaborative and multidisciplinary framework.
