The Role

As an experienced Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to our residents, including completing initial assessments and care planning, implementing nursing care plans, and liaising with visiting medical officers and other health professionals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete comprehensive initial assessments and develop individualized care plans that cater to the unique needs of each resident.
  • Implement nursing care plans developed by the healthcare team and collaborate with visiting medical officers and other health professionals as needed.
  • Deliver holistic care to residents using the person-centred care approach, prioritizing their physical, emotional, and social well-being.
  • Supervise, manage, and monitor the standard of care delivered to residents, ensuring it meets the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • Assess and plan resident care needs on an ongoing basis, updating documentation as per protocol to ensure seamless continuity of care.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Essential Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably in aged care.
  • Relevant qualifications and AHPRA registration.
  • Minimum of 12 months experience as a Registered Nurse.
  • Valid working rights in Australia.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and all levels of staff.
  • Strong passion for working with the elderly and dedication to professional growth.
