Job Overview

The Coastal Engineering Project Coordinator will work collaboratively with senior staff to lead and coordinate professional coastal engineering investigations. The role will contribute to a range of projects, including oceanic, coastal, estuarine, riverine, water, wastewater, water quality, stormwater, and flood systems engineering.

The key responsibilities of this position include:

  • Overseeing single minor projects or participating in larger projects that meet project objectives.
  • Preparing and providing clear and thorough reporting and documentation to senior staff and clients.
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of innovative solutions.
  • Liaising with clients to understand their business needs and technical requirements.
  • Preparing proposal documents for less complex projects and assisting with tender submissions.

This role requires excellent communication skills to obtain repeat business, develop new opportunities, and enhance the reputation of our organization in the industry.

The ideal candidate will have experience in coastal engineering, hydrometrics, and project management. They will be able to communicate effectively with clients and senior staff, and possess strong problem-solving skills.
