Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Coastal Engineering Lead to join our National Maritime Team in Australia.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in the design, evaluation, and reporting of ports, harbours, coastal works, and marine structures. They will also have significant experience with coastal modelling software and working with local governments, port clients, and/or the Defence sector.

The role involves leading technical delivery of new projects, collaborating with other disciplines, and driving innovation within the team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in coastal engineering, project management, and business development.

  • 15+ years of experience in coastal engineering
  • Significant experience with coastal modelling software (DELFT-3D, SWAN, MIKE)
  • Experience working with local governments, port clients, and/or the Defence sector
  • Familiarity with Australian design codes and guidelines
  • Chartered Professional Engineer (or ability to get chartership)
  • Tertiary degree qualifications in Civil or Structural Engineering
  • Eligibility for Australian Government security clearance
