The Role:

We are seeking a Permanent Full-Time Senior Culinary Director at our site in The Basin. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for organising day-to-day kitchen operations, providing excellent customer service, and managing bulk cooking efficiently.

Roster: Monday to Friday 7.00AM - 3.30PM

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve high-quality meals, including texture-modified foods, to meet the dietary needs of residents
  • Manage kitchen staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver exceptional service
  • Develop and implement menus that cater to diverse tastes and preferences
  • Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to food hygiene and safety practices
  • Monitor inventory levels and manage supplies effectively

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent)
  • At least 2 years' experience as a senior chef in a healthcare setting
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
