As a Senior Program Director within the National Disability Insurance Agency's (NDIA) First Nations Group, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing access and outcomes for First Nations people with disabilities. Our agency is committed to empowering individuals with significant and permanent disabilities, as well as their families and carers, through the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).

The NDIA seeks an experienced leader to join our team as an EL2 Program Director in the First Nations Group. This position offers a challenging and rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of First Nations participants and staff. Key responsibilities include leading the facilitation of culturally safe environments for First Nations peoples, building and maintaining relationships with First Nations communities, government agencies, and other stakeholders, identifying and driving business improvement initiatives, and leading teams to deliver high-quality projects and policy initiatives.

To succeed in this role, you will need to demonstrate strong skills in policy development and/or project management, as well as the ability to collaborate effectively across teams. As an ideal candidate, you will be able to work independently, organise your workflow, and make decisions relating to your area of responsibility. You will also demonstrate a high level of integrity and professionalism that aligns with the values and mission of the NDIA.
