About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Support Professional to join our dedicated team at Challenge Community Services. As a Support Professional, you will play a vital role in providing essential assistance to our high-needs clients, aiding with personal care and daily tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personalized support to clients with complex needs, including those who use wheelchairs and have additional medical requirements.
  • Assist with daily tasks, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household chores.
  • Support clients in developing and maintaining their independence, promoting autonomy and self-advocacy.
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to ensure seamless delivery of services and high-quality care.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge in disability support.
About You

We are looking for a motivated and empathetic individual who is passionate about delivering exceptional care and support. To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Experience working with clients with high-needs disabilities, including those with complex medical requirements.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including shift work, sleepovers, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Outlook.
  • Valid Australian Driver's License, Working With Children Check, and NSW NDIS Workers Screening Check.
  • Full COVID vaccination status.
