We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Support Professional to join our team at Challenge Community Services. As a Support Professional, you will play a vital role in providing essential assistance to our high-needs clients, aiding with personal care and daily tasks.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Provide personalized support to clients with complex needs, including those who use wheelchairs and have additional medical requirements.
- Assist with daily tasks, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household chores.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, their families, and other stakeholders.
- Work collaboratively with our team to ensure a high level of care and support is provided to our clients.
- Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
About You
We are looking for a candidate who is:
- Confident in engaging with clients and their families, building strong relationships and providing empathetic support.
- Resilient and self-assured, able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage complex situations.
- Skilled in prioritizing tasks, problem-solving, and communicating effectively.
- Flexible and able to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to maintain accurate records and reports.
- Able to pass a National Criminal History Check and hold a valid Australian Driver's License.
