About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Support Professional to join our dedicated team at Challenge Community Services. As a Support Professional, you will play a vital role in providing essential assistance to our high-needs clients, aiding with personal care and daily tasks.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Provide personalized support to clients with diverse abilities, promoting autonomy and independence.
  • Assist with daily tasks, including personal care, meal preparation, and household management.
  • Support clients with complex medical needs, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, their families, and other stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure seamless delivery of services and high-quality care.

About You

We are looking for a motivated and empathetic individual who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of people with disabilities. To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience working with high-needs clients, preferably in a disability support setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of flexibility and adaptability.
  • Basic knowledge of disability support principles and practices, with a willingness to learn and develop your skills.
  • Valid Australian Driver's License, Working With Children Check, and NSW NDIS Workers Screening Check.
