Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Medical Laboratory Technician to join our dynamic team. As a Medical Laboratory Technician, you will be responsible for performing front-end activities in specimen reception, data entry during afternoon shifts, and laboratory testing in biochemistry, haematology, and immunohaematology departments.

Main Responsibilities
  • Apply established methods and procedures to perform laboratory investigations.
  • Maintain analyzer equipment, quality control, and ensure ongoing compliance with NATA accreditation.
  • Work efficiently to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Deliver results within specified timeframes to meet client expectations.
Key Qualifications
  • Diploma in Laboratory Technology or equivalent qualification from a recognized tertiary institution.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in pathology services delivery.
  • Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, oral and written communication skills.
  • Initiative, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
