Job Description

This position involves working as part of a dynamic team responsible for pre-analytical and cut-up aspects of laboratory work. You will report to the Head of Anatomical Pathology and be accountable to supervising pathologists for specimen management.

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, with experience in working collaboratively as part of a team and autonomously. They will have sound decision-making capabilities and be committed to ongoing learning and development.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Managing specimen reception and dissection areas safely and efficiently
  • Leading staff in these areas and overseeing daily operations
  • Directing transfer and dissection of specimens

To be considered for this role, you will hold a Bachelor's degree in Science or Medical Laboratory Science, with relevant subjects to Anatomical Pathology practice. Postgraduate study in specimen dissection is highly desirable.
