Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced leader to spearhead our grid solutions team in Australia.

  • Develop and lead business opportunities for HVDC, FACTS, Offshore Wind Systems, and Substations by analyzing customer investments in the Australian market.
  • Position the business as a strategic partner with major customers, developing customer loyalty and satisfaction.
  • Instigate and manage business development activities, understanding competitor positions and strategy to develop and maintain market share.
  • Define, develop, and ensure implementation of Global & Regional growth strategy for Grid Solutions in Australia to increase top and bottom-line targets.
  • Lead and develop the workforce, ensuring maximum productivity and effectiveness, enabling a high-performance culture of business excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Demonstrate a 'safety first' approach and live the Zero Harm culture: thinking & working safely, in line with organization & regulatory requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications

- Master's degree or equivalent experience in Engineering or Business Administration.

- Technical knowledge and business operation experience/knowledge of common technologies related to Grid Solutions.

- Proven experience of at least 10 years in business management, project management, consulting, finance, marketing, or sales.

- Leadership experience and proven track record in people management.

- Outstanding stakeholder management skills at all organizational levels.

- Strong set of personal skills that support building a network, developing people, culture, and organization combined with proactiveness, innovation, and partnership.
