Job Title: Cost Management Professional

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Cost Manager to join our team. This role will involve various traditional cost management functions including estimating, planning and budgeting, cost control, and accurate and timely financial reporting.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with clients, architects and contractors
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities
  • Develop feasibility studies and budgets
  • Cost checking of developing designs
  • Evaluate tenders and negotiate contracts
  • Manage cash flow and procurement processes
  • Prepare cost reports and valuations
  • Analyze variations and claims
  • Compile final accounts and settle disputes
  • Conduct investment analysis and implement benchmarking processes

Requirements:

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering or Construction Management
  • Australian working rights and current location in Australia
  • RICS / AIQS accreditation is highly regarded

  • Thorough understanding of the project life cycle from conception to completion
