Senior Quantity Surveyor Position

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our Development Advisory division in Sydney.

  • This is an exceptional opportunity for a professional with expertise in cost management, construction planning, and team leadership to take on a senior role in our company.

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting thorough cost analyses, estimates, and feasibility studies for various construction projects. They will also be expected to manage client relationships, mentor junior staff, and oversee the progress of multiple projects across different sectors.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement effective cost management strategies to ensure project success.
  2. Analyze complex data to identify trends and optimize project outcomes.
  3. Mentor and guide junior quantity surveyors to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  4. Foster strong relationships with clients to deliver exceptional service and support.

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills. You should also have a strong understanding of local construction industry practices, including development, contracting, and consulting sectors.

Requirements:
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in quantity surveying or construction management.
  • Expertise in cost estimation, budgeting, and risk analysis.
  • Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
