- Preparing cost plans and estimates at all stages of the design process.
- Undertaking cost control activities during the construction phase of projects through the delivery of progress claim assessments and recommendations, assessing contract variations, and the preparation of cost reports and cash flow forecasts.
- Participating in risk management, value management and optioneering workshops as may be required;
- Working closely with and communicating with the internal and external teams to address issues or concerns as they arise.
- Helping the Cost and Commercial Management team to establish and work within agreed parameters and procedures.
- Supporting the development of the Arcadis Cost and Commercial Management offering in a client-facing role, through the delivery of services to a high quality.
- Delivering commissions within the framework of risk, sustainability and environmental considerations, while maintaining focus on time, cost and quality.
- A passion for transforming the world around you and improving the quality of life.
- A relevant degree in Construction Management or Quantity Surveying related areas.
- Professional qualification with either the AIQS or RICS would be considered an advantage,
- Demonstrated experience working on projects within the Social Infrastructure and broader property sectors. Experience in the delivery of Data Centres would also be considered an advantage.
- Strong expertise in cost management, including the use of software applications such CostX, and @Risk (preferred but not essential).
- Minimum 3–5 years of post-qualified experience in a similar role.
- An innovative mindset, with a drive to challenge the status quo and deliver exceptional results.
- Outstanding teamwork and collaboration skills, fostering a culture where everyone can grow, perform, and succeed.
