**Job Description:**

The Business Partner Specialist will support and guide operations in human resources matters, focusing on building people capability and managing employee-related issues.

**Key Accountabilities:

- Develop human resources initiatives aligning with the business strategic plan.
- Build relationships with stakeholders, including employees and client representatives.
- Provide advice on employment industrial instruments and employee entitlements across all business areas.
- Review HR policies and procedures, educate managers and employees on compliance.
- Support employee relations, performance management, and disciplinary matters.
- Develop and implement industrial instruments, contribute to HR reporting and data analytics.

**Requirements:

- Minimum 3 years' experience in an operational HR role, preferably in the mining or resources sector
- Strong communication skills, written and verbal, across levels
- Ability to educate and coach various levels regarding employment legislation.
- Highly developed planning and organisation skills
- Good knowledge and understanding of employment and industrial relations, legislation, and regulations
- Ability to navigate a dynamic environment
- Working knowledge of the mining industry is advantageous
- Experience in negotiating IFA's desirable
- Degree in Human Resources Management/Industrial Relations or demonstrated experience desirable
