We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Support Officer to join our team at KBR Inc.

About the Role

This is a permanent role based in Canberra, where you will assist in the development of project artefacts, including the project execution strategy, project management plan, and stakeholder and communication management plan.

You will be responsible for planning, managing, and coordinating effective stakeholder engagements, including Integrated Project Management Team meetings, Fundamental Inputs to Capability working groups, and other workshops, program reviews, or industry engagements as required.

You will also compile project data to support the development of project reports, briefs, and presentations, and assist in the preparation for reporting requirements in accordance with CASG project management policy and the Future Air Mobility Systems Program Office governance structure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development of project artefacts, including the project execution strategy, project management plan, and stakeholder and communication management plan.
  • Plan, manage, and coordinate effective stakeholder engagements, including Integrated Project Management Team meetings, Fundamental Inputs to Capability working groups, and other workshops, program reviews, or industry engagements as required.
  • Compile project data to support the development of project reports, briefs, and presentations.
  • Assist in the preparation for reporting requirements in accordance with CASG project management policy and the Future Air Mobility Systems Program Office governance structure.

Requirements

  • 4+ years' experience in Project Management or Support roles within CASG/ADF or Defence.
  • Tertiary qualification in project management or engineering (desirable).
  • Experience managing large Defence contracts across acquisition (desirable).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in relating project/program advice to various business areas.
  • Have an active NV1 clearance, or the ability to obtain one.
  • Must be an Australian citizen.
