Logistics Support Officer Role

We are seeking an experienced Logistics Support Officer to join our team in Sydney.

About the Job:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to internal and external clients, coordinating and monitoring shipments, and ensuring timely delivery and management of container availability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external clients
  • Coordinate and monitor shipments, ensuring timely delivery and management of container availability
  • Liaise with export customers, transport providers, and internal stakeholders to resolve any issues or concerns
  • Enter sales orders into Oracle ERP system, process purchase orders, and manage customer invoices
  • Prepare weekly inventory and shipment reports, ensuring accurate and efficient management of logistics operations

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 1-2 years' experience in logistics administration or customer service
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel) and Oracle ERP system
  • Strong organisational skills, with a high aptitude for detail and great communication skills
  • Ability to work well within a team and autonomously after training
