Digital Learning Solutions Specialist

Overview:
- This position supports the implementation of a new ePortfolio platform.
The Eportfolio Educational Designer/Technologist collaborates with academic and professional staff to design, develop, and deploy digital solutions for student learning and assessment.
The key responsibilities include:
- Designing and developing forms, templates, and reports using an ePortfolio platform in collaboration with teaching staff.
- Piloting new educational technologies, implementing workflows, and evaluating their effectiveness.
- Managing multiple concurrent projects, working independently with minimal supervision.
- Organizing, designing, delivering, and evaluating professional development workshops for staff (face-to-face and online).
- Providing technical support and problem-solving, developing innovative solutions while maintaining collaborative relationships with staff at all levels.
Key Qualifications and Skills:
- Relevant qualifications and experience in technology-enabled learning, teaching, and/or curriculum for higher education; or equivalent knowledge gained through education, training, and/or experience.
- Experience using ePortfolio platforms (preferably Risr) for accreditation, workplace-based assessment, programmatic assessment, and tracking student progress.
- Strong technical support and problem-solving skills with initiative and ability to build collaborative relationships.
- Excellent digital skills in Microsoft Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams) and Power Platform (Power BI, Automate, Apps).
- Knowledge of Power Apps in teaching contexts is desirable.
