">About This Role

We are seeking an experienced and strategic communications leader to drive the development and execution of campaigns that elevate our reputation, voice, and purpose.

This role is ideal for a creative communicator with excellent writing skills, strong media instincts, and a passion for social impact. You will:

  • Create and deliver campaign strategies that amplify our purpose and thought leadership.
  • Effectively manage digital campaign activities including campaign websites, EDMs, supporter base growth, and engagement data analysis.
  • Create compelling communications that resonate with diverse audiences.
  • Proactively identify media opportunities, pitch stories, manage enquiries, and prepare spokespeople for interviews.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure integrated, consistent messaging and maximum campaign impact.

You will be at the forefront of the 'Demand More' campaign, combining high-impact storytelling, strong media engagement, and stakeholder coordination to influence public conversation and showcase quality not-for-profit providers.

">About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A degree in public relations, communications, journalism, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years' experience in PR, communications, or media roles (including managing a digital platform or campaign).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong understanding of the media landscape.
  • Proven ability to craft compelling content and manage media engagement.
  • Proficiency in website content management platforms and basic HTML skills.
  • Experience with platforms like Mailchimp or Campaign Monitor and analytics tools.
